Its a great single target dps tower, when you have it upgraded on high ground with sufficient mana and a lookout. Obelisk is great in theory and absolutely abysmal in practice, you will sink 3 times the cost of your single obelisk in mana generation. Performs better against normal mobs but isnt reliable for the sheer number of them. Particle cannon is decent with high range and damage, but serves the same niche as radar for the same cost at less range and damage. But they cost alot have mediocre firing speed and have shit non health damage, so against all the endgame wave factions perform worse than the throwers or mortars. Shredders are absolutely amazing towers with their sawblades having near infinite collateral damage range. If your set up uses its mines to often it stops being reliable for anything.įlamethrowers a good aoe mana tower but it doesnt slow like poison sprayer and is less reliable than mortars for stripping armor so it ends up feeling meh. Minefield is a great no skillpoint boss killer or leak catcher but requires many many manuel upgrades, good placement and most importantly time. Multiple lookouts + poison spray is the most consistently successful triple strat.įrostbite towers are amazing for staggering they have a static mana cost no matter the level, they arent particularily useful in a killbox but do work wonders on seperating problematic big slow spawners away from the faster distractions in short lanesĪfter that the rest of the towers dont really need to be unlocked. Will auto level decently and let you double dip on research gains. Just place a few near your killboxes and forget with one near backline to enable your unleveled towers to catch leaks.

Lookout is the best support tower for both boss killing and general dps boosting. You often only want a max of 3 (one for each max type) It will do amazing single target for killing bosses or big portals etc but has large issues with targeting fast enemies.

Radar is the best no skillpoint no manual leveling place and forget towers. Then for the others theyve got nice niches. (Amd also will often not be sufficient for later challenges due to mobs spawning mobs who spawn mobs) a pair will do nicely though. Tesla tower is the best single tower lane solution but as stated previously sucks hot ass until sufficiently leveled.

Poison tower is by far the best mana drain tower hitting all enemies in a large aoe and with cough cough also inflicting a slow.
